The Iranian Threat: An Imaginary Problem Will Persist and Require an Irrational Solution

It is impossible to solve a problem that does not exist. The problem must persist and become a field made fertile by propaganda (Quds plot, Israeli embassy bombings, Hezbollah in Central America, etc) to produce a reality. Like theology this political husbandry preys upon ignorance and fear to harvest obedience. The yield was taken long before the seed was planted. In the past year threats have been exposed by our protectors. This problem was always a solution searching for a predicate.

War has already been declared. The trick is to keep it obscene enough to not excite protest at home or resistance from rivals abroad. Creep will occur, matters will get out of hand, and greater war will come. It is absurd to believe the same people who brought us Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya will not augment aggressive war by any means.
