Unless I'm mistaking a scavenger hunt listing for a gratitude list, I notice you don't have country anywhere to be seen you non-voting atheist.
I despise nationalism. I can't give thanks for the crimes my white European ancestors committed to make this into a "great nation"--i.e. economic and imperial power. Nobody should be thankful for ethnic cleansing of the native americans and economic strength through a trade surplus brought about by african slaves picking cotton, tobacco and other crops. Most nations are established and sustained by crimes. Nothing to be thankful for......But we're the lucky ones cashing in on the crimes!
